Theme: After The Storm

TEDxSFIT is the first official TED event in North Mumbai independently organized by students of St. Francis Institute of Technology. It is a commemorative platform to voice local ideas that have a global impact and propel a promising change in the community. With a diverse speaker lineup and stories that inspire you to the core, TEDxSFIT instills a spirit of positive social transformation in the audience.

The theme for this year is “After The Storm’’. Its inspiration stems from the colossal obstacles these unprecedented times imposed on mankind. TEDxSFIT 2021, will bring you talks from individuals, like you and I, who have braved the storms in their lives and come out stronger. The central focus of the theme is to bring to light the reality which starts after the storm’s end. To accept the opportunities and obstacles it has left behind. A kaleidoscope of triumphs and challenges.

Architectural Designer

Vallabh Viswanathan is an experienced architectural designer by profession, who believes in adopting a holistic approach to architecture and urban designs by looking beyond the surface and reaching the core of an issue to provide innovative design solutions. From dashing to get an evening vada pav in Mumbai as a child to walking the halls of Roman gladiators at the Colosseum in Rome, the built environment has always fascinated him.

Ms. Deepthi Anne

Technology Strategist

Deepthi Anne is a Technology Strategist and Quantum Field Ambassador at Microsoft. She is a technical professional who is passionate about world-changing technology. She is an expert in high-performance solution designing for the BFSI domain. Well-versed with Cloud-Native, Data & AI, and Blockchain solutions, Deepthi has previously worked with IBM as well for a period of 5 years. She is currently exploring the field of Quantum Computing and spends her day questioning the why, how, when, and what of everything she reads.

Ms. Roshani Shah

Photographer

Roshani Shah aka Roshagulla is a photographer and traveler based in Mumbai, who decided to shape her passion into her profession. She decided to step out of her monotonous lifestyle and follow her passion on a journey to seek and spread happiness. She is also currently a Sony Alpha influencer based on Instagram with over 160k+ reach and her work has been featured on many prominent platforms like Apple, Nat Geo India, Google India, and many more. Photography opened up the zest for her life. Roshani strongly believes in valuing time which is the driving force that pushes herself to take risks and pursue what she loves to do!
