TEDxKids@Chiyoda 2012 provides a journey of discovery and surprise to children and adults who create the environment in which the children are nurtured.
The first event was held in 2011 as TEDxKids@Tokyo and it featured 12 speakers and performers from various fields. Based on the theme of “The History of the 21st Century”, 130 participants and 4500 viewers on Ustream listened to the ideas about the future of the world and Japan.
This year’s event will be held on 28th October, at 3331 ART CYD under the theme of “Re___(Reconstructing of Relationship)”. There are various kinds of “relationships” in the world, for example between adults and children, Japan and foreign countries, human and technology and so on. The concept of relationship is dynamic and it undergoes transformations with the passing time. TEDxKids@Chiyoda provides a chance for participants to get a new perspective on the “relationships” and to redefine the world by sharing speaker’s unconventional ideas and unique stories.
