In 2022, 100 women were currently serving in, or running for, elected offices affecting Guilford County residents. Offices including the Vice President of the United States, US Senate, US Congress, NC Senate, NC House, Guilford County Commissioners and School Board, Judges, Mayors, City and Town Council, Clerk of Court, and Soil and Water Conservation. Women are leading in Guilford County. No matter the party, it takes a courageous person to put their name on the ballot!
This November, take a morning to connect with women leaders in Guilford County as we break bread together and rejuvenate ourselves among our peers in public service. We will have an elegant breakfast followed by viewing the 5 TEDWomen 2022 Talks on:
-Leading women on CHANGE, with a focus on overcoming barriers and accomplishing goals on our own terms
-Leading women on WORK, taking a deep dive into capitalizing on the new ways we work
-Leading women on RIGHTS, explicitly digging into ideas driving the quest for equality around the world
-Leading women on JOY, with a focus on cultivating joy in business and in life
-Leading women on the FUTURE, with an in-depth look at how to step up and shape the future
Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss and engage with these big ideas, brought to you by TEDWomen.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
