Carlos Tavares

Carlos Tavares graduated in History from the University of Porto in the early nineties. He began to work in the area of communication and events as a teacher, artist manager, producer, director and creator of events, shows and multimedia exhibitions, having won awards for Best Event of the Year in 2001 (multimedia show "Guarda Milénio"), 2006 (guided tours with period animation "Jardins Históricos de Oeiras") and 2010 (exhibition "Tutankhamón", in Madrid). Since 2012, he has been dedicated to audiovisual production and multimedia content management at 2PLAY-CREATIVE LAB in Viseu.

Francisca Almeida

Francisca Almeida, 22 years old, Born in Castro Daire. She is attending the 5th year of Dental Medicine at the Portuguese Catholic University of Viseu. Throughout his school career, he was widely involved in Student Associativism at the Regional and National levels. Founder and President of the Ready to Help Viseu Youth Association since 2020. This project has 130 volunteers, higher and secondary education students, who come together for Volunteer and Training activities.

Degree in Social Communication from the Escola Superior de Educação de Viseu, 24 years old, presenter of one of the previous editions of TEDxESEV. He says it was an enriching experience and a lot of fun. At the moment, he dedicates himself primarily to music, which was already his dream a few years ago, and he works every day to improve in that aspect.

Vera Antunes

Born in Fundão, Vera Antunes is 43 years old and has had a life full of personal and professional achievements. Since 2000, she has called herself an “eternal UBIana”. He graduated in 2004 in Communication Sciences, and in 2009 he completed a Master's in Marketing. Professionally, since 2004, she has been a senior technician at the University of Beira Interior. Currently, she is an FCT research fellow and PhD student in Communication Sciences at the University of Beira Interior, where she investigates the theme “The influence of strategic communication in the projection of Portugal as a thermal tourist destination”. She is a researcher at LabCom, a member of the SOPCOM-Portuguese Association of Communication Sciences and the European Association for Research and Education in Communication (ECREA). At the same time, since t2, he has lived a life of volunteer work. He is currently deputy chief at the Fundão Volunteer Fire Brigade.
