Adya Kumar is a tech enthusiast, strategy leader, engineer, and podcaster with a passion for solving problems through the use of technology. After living and working in India, France, USA and UK, today she calls Bonn (Germany) her home of choice. In her day job, Adya works as a senior management consulting professional for a leading German logistics company. She has extensive leadership experience and expertise in digital transformation, IT, and innovation management. Through her personal journey, research, and international experiences, Adya has explored the ways digitalization has created numerous opportunities for diverse groups of people. In 2021, she founded ‘The Digitalization & Diversity Podcast’, a show that amplifies diverse voices and opens the dialogue on socio-economic topics that are not so openly spoken about.
Arian Adeli
Student & Entrepreneur
At a young age, Arian Adeli Koodehi founded his first company, Rivo Trading, a trading and investment technology company which was nominated for the Best Trading Technology in 2020 and 2021 by Benzinga.
Arian, a current resident of the Republic of Cyprus, has achieved over one hundred certificates and prestigious awards in many fields, including mathematics, which led him to discover his talent in statistical models and analysis. As an advocate of education and self-learning, Arian conducted extensive research on several financial markets and investment opportunities in the hope to share this knowledge with others.
After gathering a great deal of knowledge about the fundamentals of finance, he compiled this essential knowledge to formulate his first book, “The Quantified Fortune — Learn the Essentials of Modern Finance”. Arian wishes to develop his vision of being able to provide quality education and share financial knowledge with the general public.
Bob Fennis
Professor in Consumer Behavior
Dr. Bob (Michaël) Fennis is a professor in consumer behavior at the RUG. He specializes in Consumer psychology, persuasion, unconscious influence and consumer self-regulation. He was trained as a communication scientist at Radboud University, and a social psychologist at Utrecht University. He completed graduate training as an experimental consumer psychologist at Utrecht University where his focus was on advertising effects and consumer behavior. After a short excursion to the field as a consultant for the Dutch Ministry of Public Works, Traffic and Water management and a consulting firm (Boer & Croon Corporate Communication), he returned to academia to work as an assistant/ associate professor at the Free University of Amsterdam, The University of Twente and Utrecht University. From June 2010 onwards he works as a full professor in Consumer Behavior at the University of Groningen.

Magalie van Exel
Board Member Lieve Mark
Magalie Van Exel is a board member of the student initiative Lieve Mark. With this initiative, they raise awareness about and research the positive and negative influences on students’ mental health. With their broad network among students and policymakers, they make sure that sustainable collaboration between the two is created.
Besides this, Magalie works for Stichting Time Out and creates theatre productions about social themes and mental health, she is a student ambassador at the municipality in her city (Leiden) where she acts as a connector between students and policymakers and she has set up a student initiative to support Ukraine with which 19 busses full of supplies have driven to the border and brought back Ukrainian refugees.
