Theme: Embracing Change

We live in a rapidly changing world -- with the pandemic and conflicts shaking our globe. However, instead of allowing these winds to blow us around like reeds, we ought to instead embrace the change, being our own agents of it. These talks will focus on how and why each of us are altering our societies. Moreover, our experiences through adversity will be highlighted and our actions stepping up against the status quo will be widely discussed to encourage communities to make differences.

Manyasiri 'Pear' Chotbunwong is an 18-year-old menstrual justice activist based in Bangkok, Thailand. She is a proud advocate for youth voices and menstrual hygiene who is driven to destroy taboos and break the silence. Pear has been recognized as the youngest winner of the Women of the Future Awards Southeast Asia in Public Service and a recipient of the Diana Award. In 2022, Pear represented Thailand at the International Philosophy Olympiad and placed 16th in the world.
