Theme: Generation Z

Gulshan Campus A of The City School, situated in Karachi is the first ever O’level institution across all schools networks to have acquired the license to organize an independent TED event, titled “TEDxYouth@TCSGCA” that has been scheduled for 17th February 2023. The event is the series of talks by eminent personalities from all over the city on diverse topics covering all vital fields relating to today’s youth like entrepreneurship, technology, arts, inspiration, motivation and social service, etc. Our team endeavors at bringing diverse speakers with unique life stories, experiences, and different backgrounds to foster inspiration and motivation in our audience.

Our theme for TED focuses on ‘Generation Z’’. After the advent of Covid-19 the new normal changed for everyone including students, and adults. Adapting to this new normal is the necessity of time. Hence, the theme for this independently organized TED event aims to give the youth of our society an insight into how to manage their emotions well, how to become financially independent and keep a balance in life.

Ahmer Naqvi

Writer, Content Creator & Sports Analyst

Ahmer Naqvi is a leading consultant, content creator and writer in Pakistani media, specifically in cricket, music and digital media. He was the CEO of Pakistan's premier audio streaming app, and has served several times as digital media consultant for the country's main sporting event, the PSL as well as other cricketing events. He also has a decade of experience in broadcast media as well as entertainment, and has written for a broad range of foreign and local publications. With an ambition to make a difference, Uroosa is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Trainer and Life Coach. Being the founder and CEO of Mindemy. She is a certified trainer by the National Federation of Neuro-Linguistic Psychology USA. Her wide areas of skillsets and tools have allowed her to see a holistic view when giving training and coaching. Her work with clients goes a lot deeper, helping individuals to bring about a successful change in their lives so they can make this world a better place to live.
