Emotions are generally understood as representing a synthesis of subjective experience. For our salon event, we will be discussing why it's important to "feel" all of our feelings. And so much more.
Dr. Yonas Lakew is going to be our guest. He is a psychiatrist and dedicated mental health advocate. He has written more than 500 articles to create awareness about mental health. He also founded a multimedia company aimed at creating mental health awareness. In recognition of his work, he was awarded a Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) fellowship in 2019.
