In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

As an innovative educator and social entrepreneur,

Geoff founded Grin Green International and WeSwear, two internationally acclaimed educational organizations with the ambitious aim of empowering students to address various environmental issues using progressive experiential strategies. Prior to these Thailand-based initiatives, Geoff managed a social enterprise that trained young entrepreneurs residing in the townships outside Cape Town, South Africa, to build, replicate, and manage eco-friendly housing units in their communities. Geoff is also the social studies/politics department head at a progressive international school in the heart of Hong Kong

His journey has led him to delve deeply into the world of electric boats, combining his passion for adventure with entrepreneurial spirit. With extensive knowledge of electric watercraft and a background in business, he's charting a course towards a more sustainable and exciting maritime future.

Phatteeya Yongsanguanchai

Grace was selected as a Thai Red Cross Youth representative in the Southeast Asia Youth Network, a Thai delegate to the United Nation’s Youth4Climate event, a youth representative in UN RCO's SDGs Youth Panel, and a youth volunteer in UN Women's Asia Pacific 30 for 2030 Network and DEQP's Action for Climate Empowerment youth network. She advocates for climate action by presenting policies to ASEAN ministers, ambassadors, the Parliament, and the public.

Social Entrepreneur

Sahnfun Chittmittrapap is a Social Entrepreneur, Chulalongkorn University Lecturer, Song-writer, Senior Associate at SCBxPCL, and Project Manager overseeing the BMA “Free Period Products Policy". Aside from her full-time job evaluating target businesses for the capital investments of a holding company, in 2022, Sahnfun also founded “YOUNGFUN ”, a non-profit organisation which aims to solve period poverty and plastic waste problems in Thailand. Through its Menstrual Cup innovation (R&D in collaboration with the Thai Health Technology Association) and knowledge-sharing sessions, YOUNGFUN has taught over 4,000 girls to manage their period hygienically and with dignity, and its Menstrual Cups have helped nearly 1,000 girls achieve good hygiene. YOUNGFUN won the "2023 Model Organisation in Promoting Gender Equality Award" from UNWomen & The Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and the "Finalist Best Social Change Maker Award" at Thailand Influencer Awards 2022.

With 4,000 volunteers, they've impacted over 9,000 children in Bangkok's impoverished areas and six other Thai provinces.
