In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Charity Martin-King

Charity Martin-King currently serves as the Director of Social Change at The Ohio State University and has a civic, business, and non-profit career which spans over 20 years. Mrs. Martin-King is an entrepreneur, activist, and published author. Mrs. Martin-King, serves her community with particular emphasis on five core values; DISCIPLINE, INTEGRITY, SCHOLARSHIP, PURPOSE, and LEADERSHIP. Peter Oduwole

Peter Oduwole is a practicing licensed professional clinical counselor who currently serves as the Office of Diversity’s embedded clinical therapist and has worked with college students for the past 5 years. His entire clinical experience has included an emphasis on marginalized populations including people in the LGBTQ+ community, people from racially minoritized backgrounds, and people with disabilities both mental/emotional and physical.
