"Unveiling Interconnected Realities" focuses on the intersection of diverse fields, from science and technology to art, philosophy, hospitality, and social justice. Our speakers will reveal the hidden links between seemingly disparate ideas, showing how interconnectedness drives innovation, fosters empathy, and creates new possibilities for the future.

Andi Ahmad Yani

Lecturer in Public Administration, Hasanuddin University
Andi Ahmad Yani is a senior lecturer at the Department of Administrative Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia. Andi Yani is a PhD candidate in Dept. of International Relations and Strategic Studies at Malaya University, Malaysia. He received his first master's degree from the Graduate Program of Demography and Human Resource Development, Hasanuddin University, Indonesia 2005. Yani received an MPA from the Public Administration Program, University of Hawai’i at Manoa, USA 2010. In 2013, Yani earned his third master's degree from the Utrecht School of Governance, Utrecht University, Netherlands. He is also a researcher at the Institute of Public Policy Studies (Lembaga Studi Kebijakan Publik or LSKP), a local NGO in Makassar that focuses on policy research and advocacy. Yani's research interests relate to public governance, public policy, and non-Western public administration.

Annisa Apriliani

Caregiver
Annisa is the primary caregiver for her mother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, a neurodegenerative condition. Since 2022, she has faced the challenges of caregiving, inspiring her to advocate for caregivers’ importance in Indonesian society. Annisa studied IR at Hasanuddin University, earning accolades such as the 2020 Most Inspiring Student, 2020 Most Outstanding Student of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, the 2021 Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards, and the 2021 Young Leaders for Indonesia by McKinsey & Company. She is passionate about youth empowerment, economic development, and research, and has led the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia Chapter Universitas Hasanuddin, GenBI Universitas Hasanuddin, and GenBI Sulawesi Selatan. Professionally, Annisa managed the premier Southeast Asia business summit under Indonesia’s ASEAN chairmanship in the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, highlighting her leadership in regional economic development.

Evelyn Vargas

Hospitality and Leadership Coach
Born in Lima, Peru, Eve has over 15 years of global experience in the hospitality industry, including time in Barcelona and Ibiza, managing some of the finest 5-star hotels and restaurants. She now resides on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia, which she has called home for six years. In 2020, Eve launched Truly Human Hospitality, an online business that has since connected her with leaders worldwide across America, Asia, Europe, and South America. By 2023, she expanded her services to Bali with an in-person business, working with individuals and businesses to elevate their hospitality and leadership, fostering growth through a mindset of service and care. Eve believes that genuine hospitality can change the world, stating: "Hospitality is transformational, creating connection through care, both in business and life." A foodie married to a chef, Eve enjoys dancing and embraces spirituality, her contagious smile reflecting kindness, love, service, and joy.

Juang Manyala

Musician & Founder Prolog Ecosystem
Juang Manyala is a passionate musician and visionary founder of the Prolog ecosystem, He dedicated his life to fostering a vibrant and inclusive community of artists, developers, and enthusiasts. His music career has allowed him to explore diverse genres and connect with audiences on a profound level, while his work as the leader of Prolog ecosystem has empowered countless individuals to create innovative and groundbreaking projects.

Nur Syarif Ramadhan

Disability Activist
Syarif joined the PerDIK Foundation in 2016, becoming deeply involved in disability advocacy and research. In 2019, he was awarded a fellowship from the New Zealand government, allowing him to study for six months at Auckland University of Technology. In January 2023, Syarif received a short-term scholarship from the Australian government on Disability Leadership and Policy Reform at The University of Sydney. In September 2023, he was invited by the U.S. Department of State for a three-week program under the International Visitor Leadership Program, where he studied inclusive education across four U.S. states. Currently, Syarif serves as the Chairman of the PerDIK Foundation for the 2022-2027 term and as National Executive Chairman of FORMASI Disabilitas for 2022-2024. He recently published a book titled "Winning Inclusion: Stories of Disabled Students' Experiences in Makassar." Teguh Iswara Suardi

Urban Designer and Architect
Teguh is a seasoned architect and urban design practitioner with a master's degree from Belgium and experience as an architectural consultant in Indonesia and the Netherlands. He has won several national architectural competitions and is also active as a lecturer at multiple universities. His design philosophy is rooted in three core principles: genius loci, sustainability, and inclusivity. Teguh employs a dual approach of research by design and design by research, believing that deep research imbues each project with unique narratives and context-specific qualities. His work consistently considers the environmental, social, and cultural aspects of architecture. Teguh's diverse portfolio includes rooftop house designs, public spaces, tourism buildings inspired by local fabrics, a science museum, ecotourism-based maritime facilities, heritage building renovations, and a public library.
