With a PhD in Educational Economics from Stanford, she has led teams at technology giants such as Airbnb and Shopify. At Airbnb, she played a key role in preparing the company for its IPO and promoting gender equity in technology. Currently, she is focused on improving digital skills in Chile.

Gabriel Leon

Scientist and communicator

Biochemist and doctor in molecular biology. In 2017 he decided to close his laboratory and dedicate himself to science communication. He is the author of 11 books for different audiences, works on radio and as a communications advisor on science and technology issues, and is host of the podcast "La Ciencia Pop", the most listened to science podcast in Chile.

Hernán Rojas

Recording engineer, music producer and radio presenter

Hernán Rojas is a Chilean recording engineer, music producer and presenter, known for his work in music since the 1970s. He moved to Los Angeles, USA and worked at the iconic studio The Village Recorder, where he collaborated with legendary artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Frank Zappa, Supertramp, Santana and others. Rojas was a crucial part in the recording of historic albums, such as Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk," and also had a personal and professional relationship with Stevie Nicks. In the '80s, Rojas returned to Chile and became involved in the local music scene, working with emerging bands such as La Ley and Lucybell. His experience in the US music industry allowed him to innovate in the recordings and production of Chilean bands, making a significant difference in local music. Currently, Hernán Rojas leads the company Great Place 2 Rock and is a presenter on Sonar 105.3 FM radio in Santiago, continuing his contribution to the world of music with more than 40 years of career.

Actor, singer-songwriter and Coach

Ontological Coach, Actor and Singer-songwriter. Emotional and communication skills trainer. Creator of organizational coaching programs in culture, leadership and empowerment for adolescents. On his path as a singer-songwriter, through his lyrics he seeks to validate the diversity of human feelings, delivering, through his music, distinctions and stories that emerge from his own process of understanding and healing.

Leo Prieto

Digital entrepreneur

Pioneer of the internet industry in Latin America by founding ImageMaker at the age of 15, a celebrated web development factory that he would sell 9 years later. Since 2021 it is dedicated to Lemu, a deep technology company for deep ecology. Its Lemu Nge ("Eye of the Forest") satellite, to be launched in 2024, will be the first dedicated exclusively to observing biodiversity, seeking to close the nature data gap and make conservation an essential part of every company, since all organizations have nature in their value chain. He has lived in Frutillar since 2020.

Chilean scientist-artist based in Frutillar. Since she was a child she has been interested in science and the arts to understand the world. She trained as a graduate in applied physics and a physical engineer, always amazed by the phenomena of the Earth and the universe.

Nacho Navarrete

Nacho Navarrete is a Chilean actor, lawyer, entrepreneur and coach with a multifaceted career that reflects his passion for exploring different areas and sharing what he discovers. He has led projects such as Escapology, Rising Sun, and Mudango, in addition to creating the successful podcast "Memoorias". His play "Notworking", where he plays more than 40 characters, has been acclaimed in Chile and other countries, exploring with humour the challenges of entrepreneurship. Rommy is a local triple impact entrepreneur, dedicated to sustainability and environmental protection, working with a clear purpose, promoting collaboration and motivating others to become agents of change from their own realities. Its objective is to contribute to the development of the lake region through its entrepreneurship, generating a positive impact on communities and promoting sustainable practices. Rommy inspires change towards a better world through environmental education, promoting the circular economy and virtuous networks.

Inspired by nature in Patagonia, Thomas Kimber has dedicated his life to creating projects that help restore our relationship with nature. An entrepreneur since he was 18, at the age of 20 he co-founded the Reforestemos Patagonia foundation and has been building Karün for 10 years, the world's leading sustainable eyewear company, which through its Karün Regeneration Model has developed eyeglasses of the most high quality, restoring natural ecosystems and working together with rural communities. Their glasses are now sold in more than 20 countries and are worn by great international personalities.

Ximena Abogabir

Chilean journalist and social entrepreneur

Journalist, 76 years old. Founder of Porta agency and the Casa del Paz Foundation, where she worked for 35 years promoting issues related to sustainability. 6 years ago, together with other older people, they co-founded Travesia100, a CompanyB with the purpose of making it possible for human beings to continue developing their full potential throughout the different stages of life. From there they offer services to older people who want to prepare to live the next stage with quality of life, as well as to companies that need to digitalize older people in their role as clients, collaborators and surrounding communities, interested in including older people in their productive activities. Ashoka Fellow since 1995. Named among the 30 sustainable minds in Chile by Forbes.
