Coordinator of the Construction and Bulky Waste Management Committee, working to implement innovative solutions for managing and reducing environmental impacts in civil construction and bulky waste management in the capital of Brazil.
André Souza
Coordinator of Climate Change Mitigation at Brasilia
Coordinator of Climate Change Mitigation at Brasilia’s Department of the Environment. He worked on the CITinova Project (or GEF 6), directly advising on climate and energy agendas, as well as supporting water resources, solid waste, and environmental education agendas. He holds a postdoctoral degree from the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE) and a Ph.D. and master’s degree in Meteorology from the Universidade de São Paulo. He is an electrical engineer from theUniversidade Federal de Campina Grande.

Dái Ribeiro is an environmental engineer and urban sustainability visionary. After over a decade leading environmental projects in multinational corporations, she founded the Arapoti Institute and mentors startups at the Instituto Multiplicidade, leading initiatives in urban agriculture and environmental education. Her Horta Comunitária do Guará (Guará Community Garden) was awarded as a Sustainable Urban Initiative, setting a benchmark in urban agriculture. With a unique approach blending technical skill with community engagement, her projects have impacted schools, condominiums, and communities, proving that urban transformation is possible through collective action. Currently, she leads a movement to create urban “green islands,” combining agriculture, waste management, and environmental education to make cities more climate-resilient.
Audiovisual ativist
Co-founder and Director of Audiovisual Content for Sou Cerrado, an environmental communication project combating the invisibility of the Cerrado biome. A digital activist for over 10 years, he leads the @chapadadosveadeiros channel. He served as senior editor for the environmental documentary series Voice of The Oceans, among many other nature-related projects. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication from UniCEUB and is a Senior Audiovisual Editor at Conteúdo Urbano.
Simone Vaz de Holanda
Environmental ativist
Graduated in Human Resources Management Technology and with a postgraduate degree in Leadership from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2021). She is dedicated to social and environmental impact volunteer activities: a nine-year member of the Lions Clube Guará, where she has held various roles in Brasília and Minas Gerais, promoting community understanding and support. She is also part of the Instituto Regenerativo Movimento Tempo de Plantar, an OSCIP committed to planting one million trees and fostering a culture of regeneration and love for the environment, grounded in values like solidarity, cooperation, and ethics.
