Amelia Kelly
Student
Amelia Kelly is a current high school senior attending Alta Vista Middle College. After dealing with mental health challenges throughout her teenage years, she became passionate about advocating for accessible mental health solutions for today's youth, especially surronding eating disorders, sexual violence, and burnout. She hopes to encourage geniune dialouge around burnout and mental illness to decrease stigma. Currently, Amelia is an intern on the Youth Advisory Board with YouthWell, a non-profit dedicated to supporting Santa Barbara County's youth mental health and wellness.
Andy Brennan
Student
Andy Brennan is a Senior at Dos Pueblos High School with a passion for art therapy and leadership. As a two-sport athlete, set builder for DP Theater, and ASB President, Andy uses his connections on campus to share his story and inspire his peers to get involved.
Andy has spent the past two years helping his peers tackle mental health issues and advocating for his class at district meetings. As a firm believer that leadership is best achieved through service, he is a mentor for his teammates in cross country.
After high school, Andy plans to study applied psychology at a four year university. During that time, he plans to get involved with student government at the next level, and take his leadership skills to the next level.
Elaine Hu

Elaine is a sophomore at Dos Pueblos High and a physics enjoyer. At school, she is president of Science Club and a member of Mock Trial. Outside of school, Elaine dances ballet and plays piano as well as being communications director and a piano instructor at YouthMuze. Elaine’s experience with physics is from having taken AP Physics 1 & 2, ERTH 101 (Astronomy at SBCC), as well as being a proud member of Physics Club.
Gabrielle Terzian

Gabrielle Terzian is a junior studying at Dos Pueblos High School as part of the International Baccalaureate program. Mental health is incredibly important to Gabrielle, having battled with depression herself. As both an intern for YouthWell and a member of their Youth Advisory Board, Gabrielle has spoken on youth mental health issues in the community. With a strong passion for helping people, she has spent much of her life doing just that. Volunteering, writing about important issues, and speaking out for what she believes, Gabrielle believes everyone can make an impact. “I’m not asking you to change Tomorrow. I’m asking you to change Today.”
Joy Xie
Student
Joy Xie is a Senior at Dos Pueblos High School. She is the founder and president of Dos Pueblos’ Linguistics Club (among other clubs), where she regularly draws wugs and conducts linguistics experiments on her unsuspecting club members. As the child of Chinese immigrants, Joy became interested in the differences that exist in language at a young age, but it wasn’t until she was introduced to linguistics olympiads that she became hooked. In her free time, Joy enjoys annoying her friends with puns and listening to German-language musicals. Her non-linguistics hobbies include solving physics problems, juggling, and generally being a nerd.
Kaitlyn Marden

Kaitlyn Marden is a junior at Dos Pueblos High School. She has always been passionate about learning about the brain and how mental health struggles affect individuals. She is dedicated to helping provide better mental health resources to youth in the community and is hopeful of one day becoming a researcher in the field of behavioral neuroscience. In Kaitlyn’s free time she enjoys working on her art, frequently rereading some of her favorite books, spending time with family and friends, and watching reruns of her favorite sitcoms or gruesome true crime documentaries.
Sabrina Avolio

Sabrina Avolio is, described in one word, passionate. Currently a 14 year old Freshman at Dos Pueblos High School. She is the founder of the organization FED (FEDFightEatingDisorders.org), a published music artist (you can check out her music under Sabrina Elyzabeth and TikTok/Instagram/YouTube @SabrinaElyzabethOfficial), among many other endeavors such as her academic career, theater, Girl Scouts Leadership, and fitness, just to name a few. Sabrina wants a lot for the world and she’s willing to squeeze an almond if that's what it takes to make it happen.
Tyler McCutchen

Tyler McCutchen is a sophomore at Dos Pueblos High School and a relentless pursuer of creativity. As an actor, musician, and the owner of the brand 'Golden Waste,' he thrives on self-expression and artistic collaboration. Tyler's work is deeply rooted in a love for skateboarding and skate culture, drawing inspiration from the community's authenticity and creative origins. Through his art, Tyler seeks to inspire others to embrace their individuality and push the boundaries of creative expression.
