Decarbonization: The Path to a Sustainable Future 🌍

Decarbonization is a crucial issue in the global fight against climate change, and its importance cannot be underestimated. As the world looks for ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, this transition becomes a fundamental pillar to ensure a cleaner, more livable future. At a global level, decarbonization not only represents an urgent response to global warming, but also an opportunity to transform our economies towards more sustainable and inclusive models.

In the Los Lagos Region, Chile, this challenge takes on particular relevance. In an area rich in natural resources and biodiversity, decarbonization offers the possibility of protecting our environment while boosting local economic development. From the promotion of renewable energy to innovation in agricultural and forestry practices, the Los Lagos Region can become a model of sustainability for the entire country.

This September TEDxSalon will be dedicated to exploring how decarbonization can and should be implemented both globally and regionally, inviting us to rethink our actions and actively contribute to a greener and more resilient future.
