TEDxPurdueU 2013 was held at Loeb Playhouse at Purdue University on the 12th of April 2013 and wsa very well attended by the Purdue and Greater Lafayette community. The event was held in two sessions between 1 and 6:30 pm with a one hour networking break in between, wherein attendees got to go speak personally with the speakers and interact with each other, in addition to participating in fun activities like the TEDxPurdueU photo-booth discovering the interconnectedness of our diverse population. Talks ranged from colonizing space to studying aging in dogs inorder to better understand cancer in humans and the attendees were also treated to a couple of dazzling performances by a guitar virtuoso, a choreographed dance sequence featuring a light and sound show, and a violin concerto.
