In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Louise Wang

Louise Wang has served as General Counsel to the China BenQ & AUO Group since 1998. She is also the Director of BenQ Medical Center and the CEO of BenQ Foundation.
Prior to joining BenQ, Ms. Wang was a lawyer in private practice, focusing on commercial litigation and arbitration. She was awarded LL.B. and LL.M. degrees by the East China University of Politics and Law in Shanghai, and a PhD. in IPR History by Soochow University. She was also a visiting scholar at the Franklin Pierce Law Center, and at Harvard Law School.
