Why you should listen
Angelicque (Angel) White is a biological oceanographer and associate professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is the principal investigator of the Hawaii Ocean Time-series and an investigator in the Simons Collaboration on Ocean Processes and Ecology. She received her BS and MS from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and her PhD from Oregon State University.
White was named an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow in 2012 and was a recipient of the American Geophysical Union Ocean Sciences Early Career Award in 2015.
