Sociologist Dana R. Fisher has made major contributions to understanding what it will really take to get us to the other side of the climate crisis. She is the author of numerous books and articles, including Saving Ourselves: From Climate Shocks to Climate Action. She was a contributing author for Working Group 3 of the IPCC 6th Assessment Review on citizen engagement and civic activism, and is a professor at American University.
