Nitish Padmanaban designs systems that combine optics and computation to help improve visual perception.
Why you should listen
Nitish Padmanaban's work spans virtual reality displays, motion sickness, holography and vision correction. Lately, he has been working on ways of leveraging eye tracking and lens technologies used in virtual reality headsets for correcting presbyopia.
Padmanaban recently finished his PhD at Stanford University in the Stanford Computational Imaging Lab and now works at Zinn Labs to make autofocal presbyopia correction a reality.
