A PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tara Boroushaki is passionate about researching sensing and mobile technologies and revolutionizing cyber-human systems, robotics and wireless networking technology. She develops algorithms and builds systems that fuse several modalities (vision, acoustics, RF and WiFi signals) to connect, perceive and interact with the environment in ways that were not possible before. She is a Microsoft Research PhD fellow and her research was chosen as one of "103 ways MIT is making the world better" by MIT.
