Zoya Lytvyn is the founder of Osvitoria, a nonprofit based in Kyiv, Ukraine that focuses on providing educational opportunities for children from low-income families and helping teachers grow professionally. She also started the Novopecherska School in Kyiv, which works to promote the individual capacities of every child. She's a member of the supervisory board of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine.During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lytvyn and her team helped the Ukrainian government build the country's first national online education platform for schools, helping secondary school students learn remotely. This work has evolved since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, and her team continues to offer access to education to the country's children, wherever they are located.
